Nestled among farms and mature trees, this campground provides a unique blend of tranquility and accessibility, making it an ideal spot for a short getaway or a family camping adventure.

The campground features spacious and somewhat private sites, perfect for pitching a tent or parking your RV. One of the standout features is the complimentary firewood, allowing you to enjoy a cozy campfire under the stars without the hassle of bringing your own.

For families, this campground is a gem. Kids and pets are welcome, and the nearby river provides a refreshing spot for swimming on sunny days. The campground’s small size creates a close-knit community feel, though it’s worth noting that noise, such as a dog barking, can travel across the site.

Nice campsite only an hour out of Calgary. Surrounded by farms, so some cow noises and not a lot of nature trails. A walk down the road is still nice, though. Sites are somewhat private. The whole site is small enough that a dog barking can be heard across the site. Lots of squirrels and robins in June living in the mature trees to wake you up early. Great for a short travel getaway. $40 a night is a bit steep comparatively, but lots of free wood so not a bad trade off.

This is an amazing Campground with plenty of fun to be had it is a great spot to bring your kids dogs and the whole family. There is a great River you can choose to swim in it is usually very nice if the sun has hit it for a few hours. Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking available there are public bathrooms for you to use and the best part about this specific site is that you don't need to bring your own firewood it is supplied and you can have a fire whenever you'd like. It is a very peaceful place to go I know I will go back again and again it is first come first serve so picking a site will always depend on how busy the campground is and what's available. You cannot pre-book or hold any sites or buy tickets in advance. That being said it is still worth the five stars.

This a favourite place of ours to go at least once a camping season. Not a big campground, but the sites are good. If you are lucky, you can get on right on the shore of the river. Only a bit of gravel to travel on , approx 2 kms worth. Firewood is free, and water from a pump is available. Only down side is there is no cell service.

Great spot for camping with kids. Loved the little brook right off our site. Only a few small issues: no Sani dump, and its first come first serve, so if you don't get one of the brook side spots, the others were not nearly as nice. We will be going back for sure.
