Fantasy Island Campground

We rented a camper here and it was an awesome model for our family with plenty of space and in very good condition. We were able to hang out with family all weekend and the pool was heated and very enjoyable. I will definitely return. The staff was very knowledgeable and laid back and they have a lot of activities for those that are into them.

So we stayed in the two cabins they have available and would give them a 7/10. Everything functioned in cabin 98. Older appliances but functioned well. Basic cabin setup good enough for a place to crash, cook and shower. Cabin 99 had the same functionality and setup. Enough room for 3-4 cars to park and dog friendly. We had a family of eight between the two. The pavilion and mini golf were very old school but functioned well. A lot of older games and an older camp store that had basic essentials . The pool was well maintained and clean. If you're looking for big resort campground with a lot of space and amenities this is not the place. This is an old school quiet small campground with the minimum for a campers experience.

Very nice place. Just stopped by to check out a friend's camper but we camped there years ago. Very cute and nicely kept. Has campers for rental as well as cabins. Very nice.

Dirty, Dismal and Depressing. The bathrooms / showers ranged from dirty to filthy. The rigs are literally on top of one another, crammed in together tighter than we’ve ever seen at any campground in our cross-country trips. The awnings, tables or overhangs are right up against the slide-outs of the rig next door. It’s mostly seasonal folks here, and their rigs are in good shape and well taken care of – it’s the campground that’s the problem. The cement pads for the trailers are old and broken. The WIFI only worked for part of our stay. The only good things we could see were that there is a nice large pavilion and a clean pool. We do not recommend. This campground is the exact opposite of its name.

Very beautiful location.sites were level and ours had a nice concrete parking pad and patio. Staff was very friendly. They had very enjoyable activities planned for kids and adults. I loved the rec room with books provided and a large tv with DVDs you could rent. The bathhouse was very clean. Water was hot. The only cons are that the sites are tight with people behind you and on either side. The roads are narrow and was a little hard to back into site.the pool was small but the area was clean and the kids enjoyed it. We will definately return.

No complaints. Half price deal for the campsite. Nearby peaceful park across the street with a walking path along the river.
