Customer Reviews
My friend and I stayed two nights in the site closet to the pond (great site!). It was quiet and peaceful. Site is not shaded but has trees nearby for hammocks. Nice star-gazing! There is a security light nearby which we appreciated. Everything was super clean, especially the portable toilet which was nearby. Lisa was a pleasure to talk with and we appreciated her checking in on us. We loved hearing the pond frogs at night and watching kids swim in the pond during the day. We also enjoyed downtown Carthage and had a hoot at the rodeo!
We stayed here for my husband's golf tournament in Pinehurst. Lisa was very nice and this place is very quiet. Most of the sites look permanent. We were in the 3rd from the road which is a very busy road but the site is nice, very spacious & wooded. If it is available we will be back next year.
We stayed here for 3 months. The campground is nice but the owner, Lisa, is rude. She seems to run most of it. Her husband is nice enough. I asked him about her behavior one day and he said "yup, that's Lisa!" and walked away. They live down the street from the campground but are connected to it by trails in the woods. Unannounced visits were fairly common. We won't stay again.
The grounds are well kept and the rv slips are nicely spread out with plenty of room for our slide outs. This is a very quiet campground and people really keep to themselves. The problems we ran into is that the WiFi really doesn’t work and there is almost no AT&T or Verizon signal which wasn’t ideal since my husband had some work to do.
We stayed here for a quick weekend get away. Very quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle. Full hookups with generous sites. We found the owner to be very pleasant and enjoyed our trip.
