First Camping trip of the season and the first time we have been to Fawn Lake Campground. Had an amazing time. This is a big campground, but our site had that northwoods nature feeling. It was very private. Showers and bathroom facilities were great. They had a Saturday Night band for everyone in the middle of the campground. If you have kids this place would not disappoint. Everyone was so friendly. We will be back again. Thank you!!!
We love Fawn Lake Campground! The owner's are great, the sights are huge, and the campers are all friendly. We love it so much we got a seasonal!
First time here, and we loved it! Very large camping areas and peaceful. Very friendly atmosphere. The kids loved the beach area and play area, and the store had everything you could imagine. Like syrup and oil cause we forgot ours. Prices were reasonably. The campground had a pig roast and Hawaiian theme the weekend we stayed. Think we found our new campground.
A small but friendly place close to town and other attractions. We've been fortunate to meet many great seasonal campers.
Very kind owners and a beautiful setting, but a few drawbacks depending on what you’re looking for in a campground. The hookups are great and the sites have a small amount of gravel so you shouldn’t get stuck if it rains. The sites do get pretty soggy in the rain otherwise. Be aware that if you have Verizon you will probably be on 1x 95% of the time and your calls and texts may or may not go through. No WiFi. There is laundry on site at the lodge and there is a small beach for swimming as well as a dock in the middle of the lake. We stayed for a week and loved it; a great place to unplug.
