Hosts were friendly but failed to tell us there have been numerous thefts at the campground this year until after we reported that several things were stolen from our campground overnight. Be sure to lock up your things when staying here! Also- the lakes have been dredged and that part of the park is very rundown. The bridges are also out in this part of the park.

I was going to leave a five-star review until it was time for us to leave. Without any warning we were told we were going to have to move because they needed to put some rocks down. All while we were in the middle of packing up a family of 5, so that we could be out at our designated time of 1pm. We told them that we were packing up but we still had 2 hours at the site. So then the site host, sat at the end of our driveway until we left early. There was another person staying at another site, who also felt uncomfortable, and they ended up leaving early. The site hosts ended up having other people check into our sites right after we left, when they were not supposed to be there until 2pm, well after our check out time at 1. The changes they made to the site while we were leaving will also make it hard for people in the tent only camping area to park. They took all of the parking for the designated spots away, now they have to try to park on the road, and carry their stuff into the site. Some of the sites will have no issues but other sites it will be a little bit of a hike to get your stuff there. This is the first time I've ever had an issue like this and we camp all over. I have left many five-star reviews, with this being my second low review ever. I am posting pics with the time stamps to show how we were treated. If it weren't for that this place would have gotten five stars because it was clean and quite. However, also a heads up the lakes are dried up so if you're going there to see them they are not there anymore.

Fawn Lake campgrounds are my absolute top favorite sites to camp on. I will always return as many times as possible in my lifetime! Definitely refer all my family and friends. My husband, our little girl and myself adore the space & the hostes. Great family fun, fishing on-site and plenty of peace to be had there.

Amazing experience, so sad it’s closed due to fire restrictions but my family and I had such an amazing time. Two small lakes in walking distance from campground beautiful sites and hiking trails. Hosts were amazing. You just can’t go wrong.
