Still a really nice place to go For a Walk, Bike Ride or in my case fly a drone or E-Skate. I've been coming to this lake since I was a kid. Back in the early 80's the lake was considered to be very rural and you could actually still hunt or fish the lake, pulling big Large Mouths & Brime all day long. You can no longer do those kinds of activities here but for better or worse it's still a nice place to come to get away for a moment... I posted some photos taken with my drone at around 200ft and a couple pics myself Eskating the Place..
My granddaughter plays softball at Fay Park And the fields are well kept. Also they have a nice play area for little kids.
Used the outdoor racquetball court to practice pickleball on lined it out with painters tape and practiced various different things.
Gazebos. Baseball fields. Tennis court. Basketball court. Handball court. Picnic tables. New playground. All clean. Restrooms. And a police substation right next to it. Circle K and Family Dollar across the street. Plaza with food spots. Great community hangout for our PSJ area. AND my Lil says it's an awesome location for Pokémon Go. 🙂 All still the same 😃
Handles water fairly well. We practiced after a light rain and the fields were fine. Bathrooms were locked, so no access to facilities. Ample parking. Some of the overhead nets were inoperable on the bigger fields.
