We got to the camp main entrance gate and it was closed. Went to the main entrance of the base, and the guard was aware of the closed gate, but was not informed of an alternate route, We entered the base and proceeded to try another route, but then came to a tunnel with insufficient clearance to pass to the the Fam Camp, we turned around and tried another road with another tunnel that was also too low! Finally, we found a road (S. Creek) that had a higher tunnel across to get to Missle and that led us to Fam Camp Rd. See photo attached.😅Made it to the campsite by a very sloping road in the dark. For the very high end buildings in the rest of the base, the campground is probably the worse Fam Camp we have been to. No staff on site on weekends, no sewer connections, and water was shut off at sites and the dump station! If we had known how inoperable the place was, we would have stayed at a KOA instead. Really sad.

Gravel sites that are a bit close but mostly level. The bathrooms were clean and the staff friendly. Not much going on here but it is nice to have so much free space to wonder. There is a little trail nearby. The sites are Jack and Jill setup so not much space between. Feels like $40 a night was a bit much.

Be aware... DO NOT follow Googe Maps to the Famcamp; follow the base signage. Maps will take you on, one of three roads, that go under a train tressel with VERY low clearances. We were there just for an overnighter. We came in Saturday through Gate 2, following Maps, and we left on Sunday. But, we found out that the only gate open on Sunday was Gate 4. Luckily, we visited the BX, where they gave us a map of the base so we could find our way to the gas station. And yes, they have diesel with good prices. Cold beer, too. The Famcamp has full hookups, but it is a dirt road going in and around the sites and gravel pads. So it's a dust bowl.

Not what we expected for a Military FamCamp. Sites are close and unkept, many of the trees need to be trimmed to allow for rigs to utilize the campsite within having to pull to one side of the site. There is no directions on what way to use sites so you can have a “buddy” site right out your door whether you want it or not. Office is not manned on the weekends and preferred way they want to communicate after hours is thru FB. Office does have ice machine and washers and dryers at a reasonable price. FHU for $35 Good for just a night or two.

Totally self-service with no one on-site, nor a host camper. Share water with another site on a splitter and not enough pressure. Had to coordinate showers and laundry cycles. Bathrooms were very buggy and not very clean. Adequate is a good discriptor.
