It is the perfect destination for local residents looking to enjoy fishing, paddling, or simply relaxing by the water without the fuss of a large, commercialized resort.
This campground is particularly popular with self-sufficient travelers and those utilizing the adjacent trail system. **Location and Accessibility**
Feit Memorial Park Campground is beautifully situated in **Blue Springs, NE 68318, USA**, right where the town meets the **Big Blue River**. Its location, often cited as being on E Broad Street near the river bridge, places it conveniently at a local point of interest while still providing a secluded, natural feel.
Its key locational feature is its connection to the **Chief Standing Bear Trail**, a major regional trail system for hiking and biking that passes through or near the park. This makes it an essential stop or trailhead for trail enthusiasts. The campground is easily accessible via state and county roads leading into Blue Springs, which is located in southern Gage County, a short distance from major towns like Beatrice. The access roads are generally suitable for maneuvering RVs and campers, though the campsite surfaces are typically gravel or crushed rock, reflecting its park setting. Nice private spot just west of the Standing Bear Trail. Right on the Blue River. You may get a visit from Gage County Deputies to say hello but if you’re not a tweaker butthead all good.
Itnice on a nice day. Feit park is where i use to get in the river with a big tractor inner tube and float the river. It was fun going through the dam when it first broke.
It was nice but the sheriff in that town immediately pulled in after us and asked if we we’re leaving right away. Rude!!! What if we we’re gonna camp there not very welcoming…
Good spot to fish, theres not much if anything at all resembling a campsite.
It was great a small town that doesn't want people to move in
