Such an amazing place to escape the city life, yet not too far from home. We had a beautiful cabin facing the river and could hear the roaring camp steam train nearby, which made it feel even more amazing. The cabin was so amazing, having a cozy little space to our own without sharing any walls was the best part. We weren't alone out there, but felt like it was just us, and I loved that. They have the cute outdoor space, perfect for events or weddings, tennis court, firepit, small library/game shed. I would love to come back soon!
What a hidden gem, can't wait till our next visit. Lovely grounds well kept. We enjoyed the fire pit area at night and played badminton , made forever lasting memories. Such a cute cozy cabin facing the river. Sitting on the deck listening to the river was my favorite while cooking a bbq dinner. Perfect way to bring in the New Year
What a wonderful place to stay. Simply beautiful and quiet. Serenity and comfort in one place. Cabin was very clean and has clearly had recent paint. Comfortable colors as far as that goes. Our day guests were equally impressed with the spacious and clean cabin. The provided amenities of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are very nice products and made it worth not packing my own. The back of our cabin faced the river where you can sit on covered deck and listen to the river flow by. And there is stairs to access the river as well. All the other guests clearly respect the location and every ones desire for quiet and serenity. This will be an annual trip for us and we will be reserving a cabin here for every future visit we make to see family and friends. Many thanks to staff and management for a great stay
Delightful little motel / cabins. Just off the 9, far enough to be peaceful but close enough to be convenient to the road and local amenities. Friendly helpful staff. The cabin was lovely and warm , comfortable and super traditional
My girlfriend and I stayed here during a weekend gateway ans we really had a lovely stay! Our cabin #9 was spacious, clean. We enjoyed having a warm tea in the porch chairs while listening to the river. The only thing I think they can improve is upgrading in the mattress to a newer one as ours was way too soft Other than that we had an amazing stay and we really recommended and we are definitely coming back!!
