Camped here for our fishing trip. It was a nice area. Very pretty and the water was calm and clear. Plenty of fish to catch. Lots of campsites available in the sand. Had a few fire pits and had bathrooms. It was about a 15-30 min float to horseshoe bend.
It's a nice beach, small, with space on the bank above.
Honestly this campsite is probably amazing but I just wanted to leave a warning. Don't attempt to get here by car. You will most likely get stuck. Not to mention you can't even get down to it via car, due to the canyon edge being a 200 ft drop. If your on the river feel free to go here and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Restrooms and iron fire pits. You can also fish from the shore.
Been going there for over 30 years used to be a really nice place now just way too many people way too commercialized over a hundred kayaks on the river at one time that are not familiar with watercraft or the rules of watercraft be careful they're everywhere hard to see when you're operating a boat
