Ferryboat Campsites Introduce

Ferryboat Campsites, located at 32 Ferry Ln, Liverpool, PA 17045, offers a welcoming camping experience along the river. As part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, it provides a range of amenities and a pleasant atmosphere for campers. You can reach them at (717) 444-3200 or +1 717-444-3200.

One of the standout features of Ferryboat Campsites is its canvas tent rentals, which are highly recommended for those who prefer not to bring their own tents or need extra sleeping space. These tents are described as clean, comfortable, and spacious, and they can be kept warm with space heaters during colder months. The campground is known for its festive fall atmosphere, with many campers decorating their sites.

The campground offers good value for its price, providing a relaxing environment for families and individuals. While the activities may be somewhat limited, the pond offers fishing opportunities, and the proximity to the river allows for swimming and tubing. Children can enjoy playing along the riverbanks.

The bathhouse has recently been renovated, which is a positive update. However, some guests have suggested that installing mini-split air conditioners would improve comfort, especially during the summer months, by reducing heat and humidity. Despite this, the campground is generally considered a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Ferryboat Campsites provides a comfortable and enjoyable camping experience with riverside access, canvas tent rentals, and a recently renovated bathhouse. It is a good location for those seeking a relaxing getaway.

This is a great campground and I highly recommend the canvas tents if you don't want to bring your own or need some additional sleeping space for guests. They were clean, comfortable, and spaceous. We stayed in October and with a space heater, it was really toasty and warm at night. You can't beat the campgrounds fall atmosphere, everyone decorates and gets into the festivities.

This is a great campground for the price. There are not alot of different things to do though. The pond is nice I fish it every year I go up and it's nice being next to the river for the kids to play or float tubes down the river. They did just renovate the bath house which is nice but would be more comfortable if some mini splits were installed to keep it cool in there over the summer and reduce the humidity while using the restroom. I installed some at a bathroom campground with a company I used to work for and it was so nice having a climate controlled restroom. Other than that, it is a nice place to go relax.

We enjoyed our visit over a 3-day weekend, and were not disappointed by all the campground had to offer! There is no pool, but the local pool is a very short drive to cool off. They offer many amenities, from the cleanest bath houses I've ever seen to fun activities planned (we enjoyed mini golf, the corn hole tournament, and hot air balloon rides during our stay!) There's something for everyone here, whether you're looking to relax by the fire, plan a weekend with friends camping alongside one another, or get out on a kayak adventure in the river. Camp store has tons of supplies, toys, gifts, and snacks to offer as well as rentals of kayaks, peddle cars, golf carts, etc. Would definitely visit again!

As a seasonal camper here it has been amazing to watch the transformation of the campground . Everyone here is friendly and the staff is great ! They all work hard to keep the park looking good. It is like one big family here and I am blessed to be a part of it ! Thank you for making us feel like family .

Nice little spot, certainly caters to seasonal goers, but if you like to tent or are lucky enough to get in the camper area, definitely visit this little gem. It's quite literally a "hole in the wall" campground, but the people are friendly, and the river is beautiful!!!
