Field trip was such a cool property! The view of the sky did not disappoint. The audio on the projector wasn't working so the owner brought us a new one very quickly and that worked just fine. Two things to note about the Porch House (not bad but good to know): 1- Tall people, we forgot that "mid century modern furniture" means short furniture. My husband (6 foot 3) couldn't get comfortable due to short furniture. BUT the shower head is the master bath was tall enough for him to comfortably shower. 2- the blinds are see through from the outside at night. We visited in the winter so the property wasn't busy. I imagine I would feel uncomfortable during busier times.
What a lovely place to stay! The bed is incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The shower provides a soothing, hot experience that feels wonderful after a long day. The view is breathtaking, with the river adding to the serene atmosphere. It's genuinely a comforting escape.
My husband and I absolutely loved Field Trip! The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and the accommodations were perfect. A wonderful balance of camping with a bit of luxury. Our tent was roomy and our king bed super comfortable. Clean bathrooms with hot showers. Everything we needed to cook was provided, we just brought a cooler with food and drinks. The host was so kind and friendly, and helped us with anything we needed and recommended an amazing hike nearby. We had the best time and can’t wait to go back! Thanks Field Trip!!
This was a great place to stay for a peaceful getaway! There's nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the river. And the heated mattress pad keeps you warm and cozy. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the surroundings are beautiful... What more can you ask for?
From the moment we arrived it was love ❤️ at first sight! We stayed in the River Cottage, so cozy and comfortable, and the sound of the river below us was magical. Our hosts were more than gracious, and made our short getaway very special.
