Recently revamped the kids playground and it's gorgeous. Three different path walkways along the water or a bird view its just overall a beautiful hidden area in this neighborhood. It's got a boat launch and kayak launch plus there is a very cute campground nearby as well
The Finn River Campground was our 188th stop and we stayed for 5 nights. Ellen provided excellent pre-arrival and arrival customer service. The park is a bit off the beaten path but right now, that is good for us. If you don’t like tranquility and the sound of birds, then this park is definitely not the place you want to stay. Part of a Hampton Township park, you get full hook ups (be prepared for extra hose and electric lines as they are in a common spot), paved 15 feet wide pads and shade. There is a playground next door and an awesome channel path to a point overlooking the bay. The bathhouse is modern and clean. Much of the park are seasonal campers and many of them have decorated their sites to look very nice. On that note, the only challenge is when I inquired about a 50 amp site nearly a year prior, they were not available. Otherwise, I rate this park a 4.5 out of 5. Connectivity (2 pm): Park WiFi (pay service and did not purchase); Verizon 69.0 down/3.55 up; T-Mobile 381.0 down/3.94 up; 24 OTA channels
Nice campground. Especially if you fish. Has boat launch and bathroom and RV hookups. Playground for kids too . Very quiet. Close to Midland and Bay City. Lots to do.
Used for one-night. Nice site, very clean. Nice bathrooms, quiet at night.
It's not a bad place for a walk or a quick cast to see if any fish are in
