Customer Reviews
This was an amazing backcountry campsite. Cooking area had a bear pole and large firepit right next to the waterfall. Tent sites were located on the hill just above. The climb wasn't awesome after hiking 11 miles in, but it was both super practical (a protected site far above the food and fire in case of wandering bears) and soothing (with the sounds of the waterfall below all night). I'd love to camp here again!
Simply amazing
spectacular - lots of animals - bison, grizzlies, wolves, coyotes, elks (Wapiti). There are several accommodations, we liked the lodge at Old Faithful best, but it is regularly fully booked. Be careful in the parking lots in the National Park. Professional gangs of thieves clear out tourists' vehicles if they are not locked and are watching animals.
