Looked this place up several times online before making the trip here, only to see a big sign as you go to pull in that says no overnight camping... Although it was very apparent that people had camps set up from tents, hammocks to house trailers.... So the big question? Is this a free camping site or day use only site? Just dont go planning on staying without knowing more than I did.
Beautiful! We have our family reunion here every year and everyone loves it. Very rustic, but with a pavilion and outhouse-type bathrooms that are regularly maintained. Both tent and RV camping and not far from the trail to hike to the Falls.
It's not a fancy park but the area is unbelievably beautiful! I highly recommend exploring all of Bullion Canyon.
I've been going there since I was born, camping smores and fun. There is gold in the creek if you have the patience to get it.
Great Trails and Cool old Mining buildings you can actually walk up to
