Fireside Lake Campground

We stayed over Labor day weekend. We were so impressed with the event line up for the kids and adults. We have been looking for a campground that we could still enjoy feeling the grass between our toes and that country feeling. This place was perfect four our kiddos and us. We rented a golf cart and ordered a pizza. The new owners are great people and super involved. Thanks for a great stay!

We went tent camping with friends on july 4th last year we were treated like we were family. The kids activities were above and beyond expectations ..the fireworks were amazing what a great time for all...so the next weekend we bot a camper now we regulars lol great place for family fun

What a pleasant surprise this place was. We decided to camp here because we had a family event nearby. Everyone was very nice and the atmosphere was terrific and the facility was far better than I had expected it to be (Based on previous ownership reviews). You can see the vision and feel the passion of the new owners and the improvements thus far were on point. We found nothing that would make us question coming back and / or recommending Fireside to others. It was Christmas in July the weekend we camped and it was a lot of fun and most of the full-time campers participated in it. The full timers really have some impressive lots. The owners (Tim and his wife) are very active in all aspects of the daily operations and events and could not be more customer focused than they were. The campgrounds are set in such a way that there is plenty of shade and is not set up like a sterile, compact car parking lot with no trees that so many have turned to. I enjoy some trees and vegetation. There is plenty to do for the children as well. A massive lake with fishing, swimming, slides, kayaking, etc. They are still adding on and improving. We experienced zero issues during our stay and hope to return soon. Thank you all who helped make our stay so pleasant.

I think this will be a five-star facility when they're finished with their renovation.The place is already beautiful just a little rough in spots.The new owners and staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. They've done so much to improve this place and continue to work from daylight to dark. We rented the camper on the lakeside for 4 days and three nights. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. All of the seasonal campers that we met were welcoming, friendly, proud of their places, and most of them were working hard to improve their sites. Fireside campground is a beautiful place, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing, fun getaway.

Great campground! Very friendly staff and owner. I would recommend to anyone for all ages. Plenty to do, great thing for the kiddos too. Very quiet, which surprised me with all the seasonal camping. One, little set back is they have gravel roads and lots. *They are still working on improvements.* I hope pavement is one. 🤞 We will defiently be back. Hopefully next year 2025 for a month long stay!
