Our space, A24, was perfect. We were located near the showers but the space was quite quiet. it was nice to have several large trees and quite a bit of privacy, There was a significant thunderstorm with hail which made it a very memorable camping experience. The water at the campground tastes good. Highly recommend this camp ground!
Campground was nice. Had potable water, restrooms and showers were cleaned every morning. Camp hosts on duty were nice but off-duty camp host woman in loop A was rude—if you’re off duty, I don’t want your opinion. This campground should allow access back onto “Going to Sun Road!”
Great campground! The sited are just far enough apart that you don't have to hear your neighbors conversations. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean and showers were warm. Lots of trails that lead off the campground to beautiful Lake Mcdonald. We rented kayaks to see the amazing rocks and crystal clean waters. Tent sites are just big enough for a 6 person tent and the fire rings are nice. Can't wait to revisit Fish Creek Campground.
Great centralized area, little village with snacks and souvenirs. Very friendly rangers and volunteers, activities for kids, boat and kayak rentals, lots of stuff to do. Beautiful beach as well ! Would really recommend. The only downside is there isn’t much privacy between campsites (no big deal) but they are working on it by letting the wood between grow back.
Nice big campground with easy access to a beautiful lake. Sites are sufficiently far apart and very shady. Biggest problem is the people leaving at 5am to be on the GTSR before the vehicle reservation time window starts, this guarantees a lot of early noise.
Made reservation at the entrance. Quiet. Friendly and helpful. Clean camping and clean bathrooms with showers. Nature.
