Went to go ice fishing. The lake wasn't completely frozen over. All I caught was a hella good buzzzzzzzz.

Haha. We stopped there to stretch our legs and take in the scenery. The best part was not having a park host ask us for money since it was too early in the camping season. I miss being able to go to a park or lake for a quick getaway and not have to pay to enjoy Mother nature. 😕 Seems like the taxes should take care of this. (sigh). BTW, the lake was beautiful.

The park it self is closed but the road going down to the boat ramp is open. The lake is down a little bit but you can still launch a boat. I fished most of the day and tried a lot of different power baits. I never got any bites but I got a short nap in. It got really windy around 4pm so me and my brother called it a day.

Our campground was perfect, the weather was perfect, everything was perfect. Except....the bathrooms just need a basic cleaning, and also the host at the campground was rude to my lady.
