This is my second time staying here and it is a immense blessing to have available for military & families when getting medical treatments. The kitchen is very large and well stocked. There are dry cabinets & refrigerated bins both with your corresponding room number, and plenty of donated foods and goods with almost everything needed including seasonings and excellent stock of everything to truly make it a kitchen away from home. Plus people are always donating and dropping off plenty of fresh baked goodies, and places like subway donate meals at times etc. I really didn’t need to bring anything with me like I usually do as it’s all supplied. There are purified water coolers on both ends of the hallways as well as in the kitchen area with hot & cold water options - huge help as I’m a big water drinker. Bathrooms are massive and spacious completely handicap equipped and accessible very comfortable and thought of everything. I’ve stayed in #105 that is backyard facing 2 twin beds and room #102 from street facing which is 2 double beds. Beds are on the firmer side. Both rooms are extremely quiet and able to open windows for fresh air. Incredibly peaceful place and TVs in each room although I prefer the common area. Toiletries are available if you do not have any including bars or soap, toothbrushes, razor etc basics and a blessing. Large book supply available & DVDs, massive dining room. Truly they’ve thought of it all and the staff and volunteers are SO kind and make you feel welcome. This place is extremely clean, modern and up to date. Better than most 5 star hotels and way more than I ever could imagine on a military facility. This truly is a blessing.
Such a beautiful place!!! Made like a resort Ronald McDonald house but nicer. Very friendly staff!!
There's no other word than Fabulous to say. Because I had major surgery and needed my family here for an extended time, Fisher House was more than accomodating. The rooms were large and spacious and all personal needs were met. My family could cook with necessary supplies and seasoning, wash and dry their clothes, enjoy the dining areas, ample spaced living room and the patios in back and the front. In All of the common areas were snacks, water and drinks. They also supplied personal hygiene products and often purchased food for everyone. Nothing could top all the gratuities offered to the guest with such hospitality. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I'm so grateful for the Fisher House.
It is wonderful. I love staying here. The people here are so warm and loving. I feel like family. They make you feel so welcome. This is my 4th visit and I'll be having more trips back to the hospital, so I'm really looking forward to my trip back. Each time I come I feel like I'm visiting family and the house and the rooms are so beautiful. Thank you so much for having such a beautiful and friendly place for people in need.
Blessing to have been able here. The House was perfectly clean. Wonderful atmosphere. I only met two people who were working there. Both were very kind, understanding, and helpful. An absolute pleasure to have the opportunity to stay in the Fisher House during a time of hardship. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
