Good for kids
Wow what an amazing journey I just had... Thanks USDA-FS for all the signs posted showing the trail heads! Not at all flooded but the creek still runs by. You can access the campsite either taking a very steep path from the trailhead or from one of two slightly less inclined pathways from the Tenaja Falls Trailhead. I choose to stay flat knowing a burnout back home could be costly.
Great spot to camp while backpacking but right now the creek is dry as a bone. Fisherman's camp is a gateway to many other trails in San Mateo.
Go there, you won't be dissapointed!
