It's disappointing that this place chooses to make their income on convenient location instead of good customer service. We traveled over 1800km, booked 6-8 months ago and were never notified the pool would be down the entire week we were booked (with 3 kids!). It would be common courtesy to let your customers know you are doing a planned shutdown. There was absolutely no compensation offered, we were simply told to book elsewhere. Then High-speed wifi was more $$ (what?!). After 3 days our trailer ended up infested with ants. We had to wash everything, empty our trailer, and beg someone to come deal with the site, but they didn't even have anything to deal with it, we had to go buy our own ant spray - no laundry card offered, no compensation offered...nothing. We were treated like an inconvenience. Then it happened to 2 other trailers in our row, no one cared. The woman who works the front desk needs a new career, she's incredibly rude. For how much money this site costs I expected better. We stayed at 6 different parks on our way home & they blew this place out of the water. The convenient location isn't worth wasting your money on.
I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it everytime. Clean facilities, large bathroom/showers, staff is friendly and they have several discount programs they accept. Highly recommend!
Checked in. Very hot out and looked forward to the pool and Jacuzzi after weeks of traveling. Was at the pool for 5 minutes and they said it was closed for the weekend. We only stayed here for the pool as there is no scenery or real draw to stay otherwise. It is right off the highway which you can hear. It is really dusty and dirty and picnic tables are coated with a black 'film'. Bathrooms clean. 3 laundry areas but one was closed. Very hot laundry rooms. Pet hair in washers and dryers. Several cats roam the grounds. Laundry very affordable. We did our laundry and left to go to another campground.
We've been staying at Flag City for 20 years! The convenient location coupled with well maintained facilty is a win-win! We've stayed for a couple of days, up to couple of weeks and it's always a relaxing stay!
The resort was clean and quiet. It's easy to get in and out of. Office staff was friendly and very efficient.
