We were headed to Yellowstone and needed to top off the water tanks in our truck and off-grid trailer campers. We were quoted a very reasonable price per gallon of water, but when the owner realized our little tanks only needed about 18 gallons total, he pleasantly waved the fee. So we "tipped" him for his service and we were on our way to the wilds of Wyoming. If we were campground campers, we'd love this little campground with its park-like feel and great hosts.
We rented the deluxe cabin. It was perfect for our family. In the past, we've stayed in a tent. But it was much h better experience staying in the cabin. It's was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable.
Monte and Tracy are the best. So kind and accommodating. We were passing through and helped us fill our camper with water and then let us use their dump station even though we didn’t stay with them. Their bathrooms were so clean and property was very well taken care of. I would recommend 100%!
We stayed in a basic cabin, which was cute and clean with a queen bed and a bunk with two twin mattresses. My parents stayed in the deluxe cabin, which was amazing. Theirs had the same beds available but a full bathroom and a mini kitchen, as well as AC. The area was breathtakingly beautiful and restaurants and the rodeo grounds and park within walking distance. The Flaming Gorge swim beach was so great and just a short drive.
KOA park with very helpful host, reasonable cost, level spaces with some shade, immaculate bathrooms, fast wi-fi, and a clean and well-kept laundry room. We were in our class B Winnebago but also looked at the available cabins which were equally nice.
Great place to camp! It's close to several of the inlets to boat on Flaming Gorge. The campground has a nice kids playground, very clean bathroom and shower area, and lots of places to camp- whether you have a tent, an RV, or want to rent a cabin. Every site has electrical hookups and water access. They also have picnic tables, fire pits and grills. It's well taken care of!
We've stayed here every year for years. We love this KOA! The cabins are clean, bathrooms prestine, and staff are friendly! The kids love the playground and when we've brought our dog the dog area is nice!
Rude staff. Town is a retirement community and everything closes at 8pm. If you check in after hours, bring your own firewood as the office closes at 7pm. Laundry is behind counter with minimal machines so there is a wait. Quiet camp ground which is nice.
