Best place to stay in Cochrane! Rented 3 cabins for 1 night on a snowmobile trip. We were made a fantastic dinner which we could not finish. Breakfast was the same. Communication with Wendy (owner) was easy via email & phone. Will come back!
This place is AMAZING. Wendy and Mike are great people. They are so so nice and they take very good care of the area. They make you feel like home! Really! They are very understanding and super easy to communicate via email. The river is suuuuuper beautiful! Wouldn't think twice about booking this place again. Recommend!
Absolutely beautiful location with extremely kind and accommodating owners. We called ahead while we were in Thunder Bay to make sure we could come later in the evening (9-10pm) and we were reassured that it was OK by Wendy - she also gave easy to follow instructions as to where to stop and set-up camp upon arrival since we would be arriving when it was dark. Bathrooms are clean, area is quiet, and scenery is unbeatable. We will definitely make a point in stopping again when we have more time to truly soak up every bit of this campground!
We stayed here on a snowmobile trip, it was fantastic! The cabins were wonderful basic cabins with a wood fire stove to heat and dry your gear. The breakfast that was prepared for us in the dining room/chalet was perfect! We were out sledding all day so we did not eat lunch or dinner there but people on the trail said they had lunch at Floods Landing and were going back for breakfast since it was so good. Disappointed we will not be there for the fish fry tonight... This will be the only place we stay when coming back up to Cochrane. Winter or Summer. Thank you for making our holiday perfect!
Hands down the only place to stay while you’re in Cochrane. Wendy will go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. It is clean, warm, and inviting. My family and I have been staying each winter for 6 years and I would never stay anywhere else! The food is exceptional. Best poutine you will ever eat!! Be sure to book yourself in for a stay, you won’t regret it!
