This small (14 sites) campground is set on the banks of the St. Louis River and is very quiet. These are water/electric sites on gravel pads set in a forest. Getting a Star Link to work is iffy at best. The dump station fee is included in your camp fee of $40. The bathhouse has 2 toilet/shower suites, one for men and one for women. Stayed for 2 nights and I’d stay here again.

In general, this was a quiet laid-back place on the St. Louis River. 14 RV sites with water and electric and a dump on-site. $40/night, no discount for a week long stay. We did save some fees by paying the camp host in cash upon arrival. It's very buggy but you are riverside in MN in summer. My one complaint is that there was only one bathroom/shower per gender. This meant that over the busy July 4th weekend you were hard pressed to get in there. Overall, a good experience.

What an amazing place to stay. Me and my wife came here for a one night get away on the weekend. We did have the pleasure of being the only people here, but the bathrooms are clean, the camp host was very nice and we had an amazing time. I would recommend this campground to anyone. Thank you for the peacefull stay and we hope to come back again in the future!

The camp hosts were friendly and the scenery astounding.. but it ended there, for me. It's a small campground.. maybe 20 sites... on the northern outskirts of town, along the St Louis River. Trails to the river are steep and sandy... There is only 1 bathroom bldg. To enter you need a code. The ladies' room needs much work as there is no space between the curtain and your knees (and I'm short). The flooring looks very old. One shower stall which can be a problem as only one person can be in the bathroom unless family... So, a 10 min shower will keep you waiting and waiting. There is no water faucet to transport water.. only the bathroom faucet. But, if all you want is to put up for one night it's not bad... Quiet time is 10-8. Tenting is rather inexpensive as , at the present time, it is $20 per site. We even heard a pack of wolves chasing down a midnight meal
