The October camping was perfect. The fall colors were on full display. We arrived after dark 😔. Dan was great helping us find our spot and the hookups for our trailer. Being late in October, we had the place all to our selves. The bathrooms were clean, with a small heater to take the chill off. The buildings are a little dated, but it's easy to see updates have been made. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dan for making us feel at home.
Dan greeted us and was nothing but a glowing example of what an RV park host should be. He was super helpful and almost hooked us up 🤣! He helped us level and spot as we backed in. The showers are amazingly clean, lots of hot water, and very comfortable. The scenery is stunning and he helped give some tips to my kids with fishing. I was sad to leave as we were headed to the coast, but this place is a worthy destination for anyone.
Beautiful place to live, but former owners have cut the river water supply to the lagoon so it's stagnated. I wouldn't swim in it or allow any kids or dogs in that water. It used to be beautiful, and the river otters used to come by and play in the lagoon. Not any more. It's too yucky. Hope the new owner makes it nice again.
I HAVE LIVED HERE A YEAR NOW I LOVE ITS PEACEFUL LOTS OF WILDLIFE GREAT FISHING ON THE TRINITY RIVER!! PLENTY OF ROOM FOR WALKING AND HIKING NEARBY AND 2 STORES AND GAS STATION IN LEWISTON!! MOOSE LODGE LOCATED HERE !! RV SPACES AT MOOSE LODGE ON THE TRINITY RIVER!! LEWISTON HOTEL RESTAURANT AND BAR ACROSS THE ONE LANE BRIDGE WITH STORES ALONG THE STREET CURIOSITY SHOPS WITH LOTS OF HISTORY OF LEWISTON CA!!!
Definitely older park. Only one washer and dryer. Which Definitely doesn't work. Don't know Bout the shower facilities. My rv is self contained. Dan the camp host is nice but him and new owners need to do more. If this is going to be called a resort. No dump station no propane no no club house. The spots are not level and do not have cement or gravel. Beautiful location. Lewiston is very small. Weaverville and Redding is where we go to shop.
