My husband and I went here last year. So worth the drive. We did drive through some areas that were a fire had come through, but past that, wow amazing views. And it was very very very quiet. I, Liz met the owner, Mike I think?, a real nice guy told me the place was just opened up. My husband and I got the pick of spots as there was only 1 other couple there. There was wood already chopped and set. The bathrooms were clean. Fly Fishing was wonderful, We plan on visiting again.
Nice large campground with 14 sites, several bathrooms and potable water. There are lots of trees and shrubs so its a shady campground with lots of privacy. Downside is there is no river view and its difficult to get to the river - there are some paths, but they are narrow and uneven. If you don't mind not having a view of the river, this is a great spot for camping.
Been coming here for the past 10 years! It's a great spot with lots of awesome fly fishing close by. The campground has big sites and provides a lot of privacy comapred to some of others around.
Beautiful campsite - 1 lane road going in and out, so if you are hauling a camper, not much fun when another camper/truck/vehicle is trying to squeeze by.
