I’m on a mission to explore more free options our State offers and Flying Eagle DID NOT DISAPPOINT! What a wonderful campground … the sites are HUGE, the potty is clean and well stocked with toilet paper … it’s an all-around 5-star experience. I can’t wait to go back.

While camping nearby we decided to try our bikes in this park which was recomended. At first the gps was taking us through a neighborhood which is not a way to get in, so when you add this name make sure it enter by moccasin 11080 ,slough rd and still will get a bit confused since no signal. Make sure you write preserve campground management, this will help to be at the correct address since it surrounds a large area at inverness. As you start approaching area has many trees along both sides if road, But keep straight and you will find a small wood house with a guard to give you access. This area also has a boon docking RV park on its on plus Tents on another private spot. Very well kept. This is also public land in hunting season. Signs will let you know when are these. We went out of any hunting season so it was worth to find this gem park after the gps was a bit out of route for 3 times. Having E-bikes was fun since this park is almost 10 miles and there is not much congestion or crowds although areas are well marked and very safe. This is a dog friendly place, I did not find any restroom unless they were inside the campgrounds which I did not visit. This is a place where the airboats have access thru the swamp area so you might be lucky enough to see them roll around their permitted areas. If we vistis this area sometime again, we will come back to this hidden peaceful park.
