- "These cabins are absolutely charming and cozy - giving off that feeling of 'home away from home.' Loved the simple but meaningful touches to the space, like the record player and vintage decor. Also, love love that they are dog friendly. We can't wait to stay again!"
- "Mike and I are retired and were very pleased with all Flying Moon Cabins had to offer. It was very quiet, quaint, charming, and cozy. We loved the sound and beauty of the fast-running creek in front of the cabin where we had our coffee every morning while we watched the sun light up the massive mountain before us. We spent hours reading there too. We even both took turns on the hammock and actually fell asleep. As private and hidden as our cabin was, Idaho Springs was only six miles away equipped with a food store, gas stations, restaurants, and shops. We hope to return and stay for a week next time. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay there."

If you’re thinking of booking this place, even if it’s just a casual thought… just do it!! Even if it’s for just a day or two!! You will not regret it one bit. Flying moon cabins was so incredibly peaceful with the perfect location. Lindsay and Alex are wonderful and attentive hosts and you can tell they really take pride in their space with the details they thought of for each cabin. You’re not too far from town and there are so so many outdoor things to do near by. Our favorite part of our stay was hanging out and drinking coffee and tea by the creek, having the screen door open for fresh air, and just the serenity this place has in general. We certainly will be back. The town of Idaho Springs itself is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. We stopped at Two Brothers Deli twice in our short visit and found some great goodies to bring home from all the little shops. I could rant and rave all day. We love it so much!
This place is a hidden Gem! It’s beautiful, away from the town but close enough to do all that Idaho Springs offers. The cabins are nostalgic and very clean. Very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed to cook a few meals. We stayed in the Cardinal. So cute and comfortable! We will be back again many times!
My daughter’s wedding was nearby. We rented all cabins. Each having its own charm. The ambiance & atmosphere were perfect to help make the whole weekend a magical experience. (I enjoyed playing LPs during our dinner gathering!)
