Customer Reviews
Anna the manager is very rude. I had all the things she said to bring including the paperwork, heat tape for the water hose, an insulated bucket for the water spicket, etc. So I kindly said "no big deal, I have all that" and she proceeded to tell me why it is a big deal and lectured me about their water system getting frozen to the point where I felt put off and disrespected rather than feeling welcome. I'm glad that this dump showed their true colors before I finalized my stay. Never had someone talk to me like that before, after more than 2.5 years on the road living full time. It may be that she is like this to everyone, or it may be that the park is full of nasty people who make her miserable, but either way, not a friendly place to stay. Seemed more interested in lecturing me before I even arrived, rather than welcoming me as a customer. Don't waste your time here. Keep looking. The owners response below shows that they rather continue to blame others than improve their own customer service. Very telling.
Enjoyed our 5 month stay at this family owned RV park. This park has been around for years and has maintained occupancy for those looking to park year round in the Denver area. Not many at all that allow for year round or long term stays in Denver. We were delighted to find they had space for us. Close proximity to shopping, restaurants, and major roads easily accessible. Close to 285 so some road noise but RV’s are not the most airtight vehicles. Residents are nice & the office hours are very accommodating. Staff & maintenance are seen driving the park often. The park is one of the originals staying true to its family roots. Progress being made as they maintain great, affordable rates. Thanks for having us - we will be back.
No. Don’t. Keep driving, you’ll find something better. “Security Guard” is a nightmare. I had to call the police on her. I went to the wrong building to wash laundry… I had my basket in my hand and explained what I was doing… she attacked me. I drove off and she opened my door, while it was moving. She jumped her car and cut me off at the exit. I called the police. Freaked me out so bad. I’m a traveling RN. I couldn’t believe she almost came through my door, and almost hurt herself. I called the cops and got out of there. She ended up saying there’s a lot of homeless… and I understand she’s has a job to do. But I showed her my pass, ID myself, verified I was a resident, I don’t look homeless, I loaded my laundry basket into my Toyota 4Runner so I could go to the proper building … and she thought that required an attack. She never announced herself or ID herself. Just banged on my car window, ripped my door open and shouted at me. She seemed to be a massive power trip, and not able to decipher residents from homeless. Between the security guard, the construction noise and the rift raft… I wouldn’t stay here again. The owners also pride themselves in being open since the 80s… the property looks like it hasn’t been updated since then. You made money in your business model?… put a dime or two into aesthetics. There also are disgusting dogs with horrible breath drooling all over everything in the office, people included. Rude. Not everyone wants your dog in their face. The office lady was nice… but over shared her shared her medical history, as well as our neighbors personal and medical history.
I mean, run your business however you like, but $150 per person over two people? Does each person use $150 extra worth of water/sewer? $150 extra worth of asphalt/pavement? Just say what it really is, either a method to discourage people with children without declaring "adults only" or it's a backdoor way of getting higher rent out of people. You simply cannot pretend that a couple of kids increase operational costs enough to justify an additional $300 dollars in monthly rent. Do better.
Anne, Landon, and Valerie are the best managers ever ! The place is amazing ! Very close to trails and shops ! The park is clean and nice !! The dogs are nice too !!
