Great little campground. Made to order pizza on site. Store has a beer cave. Equestrian friendly with stables on site. Staff are very friendly.
Very nice and let us know all the amazing options in the area. Campsite was shaded and clean. Showers were good. Picked up and dropped off at our site for float trip.
Stayed at this campground as part of the Adventure Riders Adventure Palooza event. My riding buddy and I motorbiked here to tent/hammock camp for the night. We were exceptionally impressed by the spaciousness of the campgrounds, the cleanliness, and the available trees throughout! The water on each site had impressive volume and good, clean taste. The fees to stay here are very, very reasonable! Hunts Pizza on site👍 The store has a little of anything that you might need and fuel on site.
We've hiked the area before but stayed at other locations and wanted to try something different and closer to our intended hikes; I'm happy we did. Staff was extremely helpful before and during our stay and made sure to help us select a site that was accommodating for our 5-month old. The sites were mainly flat and large, we had plenty of space for our tent setup. There are a number of sites that have little to no shade trees, so make sure you bring your own shade! And there were a limited number of picnic tables, which the staff said they're working on. We had our own tables, so now issue for us. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the water pressure in the shower was strong. They have a large selection of items at the store and a very nicely stocked walk-in beer cooler! The pizza was really good and is very convenient when you don't want to head into town. Although we didn't take advantage, having fuel on-site is a big plus. The close proximity to Welch Landing (4 min) and Devil's Well (18 min) made for a short drive back after our long hikes. We're looking forward to visiting again soon.
Came down for the day to visit and found this little gem! Loved the location and the owner was so friendly and kind. The pizza was a hit with the family!! Highly recommend and we will return.
We stopped for a cold drink and found you could get hot pizza. We got the breakfast pizza which was amazing. There was a picnic bench giving us a place to enjoy our pizza. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can also get gas there but we didn't need it at the time.
