We loved staying here!! We ended up having the place to ourselves but it would be a perfect place to hang out with fellow campers or bring your own group. Enough communal space for everyone but also the cabins and sites are private enough that you can enjoy some solitude as well. The place is extremely well taken care of and has everything you need for a relaxing time off grid!
Great time at Foolhardy. Camped there for the weekend. Amazed at what a clean, organized campground it is. The cabins are beautiful. The tent sites are perfectvand level. Bathrooms are SUPER clean and look brand new. And there's a huge outdoor kitchen to cook at. Tons of stuff to do on site and it's in the middle of great rafting and fishing. We got to spend time with our camp hosts; they were an absolute delight. Can't wait to go back.
We spent a wonderful weekend at Foolhardy Hill and I can’t wait to return. This campground makes it easy for you to come for a camping weekend- they provide a common cooking area with all the tools, making cooking and meal prep easy. No need to lug everything from home. The grounds are clean and neat, with an outstanding view of the surrounding mountains. Biddy and Katie are the best hosts, making everyone feel welcome. 10/10 experience.
This was seriously THE BEST campground I have ever stayed at! I was on a no kids mom weekend and this place couldn’t have been more perfect. Bathrooms are spotless and new, Cabins are amazing, clean and mattresses are comfortable (they are thick and feel like an actual bed!). What was amazingly unique was the owners truly welcome you and ensure you have a good stay. They are knowledgeable about the area and so many different places to go, especially if you want to know where is the best place to swim or see the sunset. The outdoor kitchen was fully stocked and I never realized how much of a difference that makes when packing and unpacking for a camping trip. There are opportunities to have your private nature experience or commune around the fire getting to know some of the others staying there. It truly was a unique experience and we will definitely be staying here often. I already told my husband to start looking at dates for a kid free getaway. Plus you can’t beat the price when you realize what a gem you just found. I highly recommend.
This was seriously THE BEST campground I have ever stayed at! Our friends and family stayed for 6 days as a group of 14people, during those 6 days we had such a great time, we’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The campground was well maintained, well managed, and exceptionally clean. We are very happy to meet the owners who treated us graciously. It is a lovely place to stay and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Thank you!
