The wife called today about a spot for our camper. The lady she talked to was really rude. And from what I understand the property is owned by the church.Probably not a church that I want to attend either. I will take my money elsewhere
We lived there for over 2.5 years. It's mostly quiet and well maintained. There are good residents that have lived there for 12+ years and some that come and go. It is owned my the church next door and managed by Debra who is a volunteer through the church. It was good while it lasted but the reason I give this campground 2 stars is a reflection of how you are treated by Debra. She will usually drive through twice daily; morning around 9:30 and evening around 5:30. Some days she seems nice and other days not so much. We were inaproperatly yelled at and forced to leave after 2.5 years due to coming back from a week long vacation and not having our leaves blown and weeds sprayed in the gravel lot. We are a hard working married couple that does not drink or party (like others do in the campground) and we always payed our rent on time. Furthurmore, over our time there, we requested multiple times to move to a different lot with a deck as availability allowed but we were ignored. The rent is also $400 and not $350 as stated on the website. Washers and dryers are also not allowed under any circumstance so you will need to make friends with somone with them locally. If you are looking for a long term place to set up your Travel Trailer, and you are willing to hire weekly site maintenance and/or put up with Debra's speratic tantrums, then this might be the place for you.
Website says campsites are $350 a month but I was told $400 when I called. I was also told that they don't allow campers 10 years and older because they are commonly run down. I have a 2011 that I just bought last year that is well maintained. Seems super biased. Some of the residents do have their own internet but Debra couldn't give me any insight in regards to it being mobile or windstream. Just thought potential renters might want to know this info since it's not posted on their website. Not sure if pets are allowed. Didn't get that far.
Nice and quiet place!! With no shower house or restroom and it's not a campground people live their year around
We were in the area and rode through the park to know about it for future visits. Small park, nice sites, but seems full of full-timers. But even the full-time sites were well maintained which is a stark contrast to other parks we've visited today. Would definitely stay here for a few days if a site was available.
