We had such a great time at Foothills! For a point of reference, we usually camp at state parks. We were having a tough time finding a place that could accommodate a large group (10 people). We found Foothills eventually and it was very easy to book. The person that helped us at the front desk was very polite and helpful. We got a serious warning about the bears in the area and were told that it was very important to put away food and take our trash to the dumpster every night. We found the campsite to be clean, the existing tables and cover were in great shape. There was a portable bathroom by our site, and a standard bathroom with showers and flushing toilets were close to the main entrance. All facilities were clean and well maintained. There were 3 dogs in our group and quite a few dogs within the camp ground. We did not have any issues with people, dogs or bears. Overall great experience and we will likely book again!

We stayed here at site 11 Labor Day weekend 2024. I had fond memories of going to the foothills every summer growing up. I knew it had new owners since then, but I hadn’t had a chance to visit. My wife and I decided to book a site and take my kids. I have to say, that literally everything is perfect. The store was well stocked, the grounds were clean, the bathrooms were clean, and everything was as pleasant as ever. The owners took the time to stop and talk with us about our small camper, and we’re a complete joy! They even delivered firewood to us multiple times. I’m glad to say that my mind is definitely made up, and staying at foothills will be a tradition I’ll be starting with my kids now too. Thank you for everything!

Foothills Family Campground has become my go to camping spot. The location is great. So accommodating. Anytime I have booked Pat and Laura have been more than accommodating. Love how quiet and convenient everything is. Thank you Laura and Pat for personally attending to each of your campers. See you in again!!! Hopefully this year...if not, definitely 2025!

Nice campground run by very friendly, helpful owners. Well kept with a nice pond, recreation area, new kids playground, and more. Sure, it’s close to the road, but many campsites are, and it’s not particularly obtrusive. The sites can be a little challenging to back into, but the owner kindly offered assistance if needed. There are quite a few seasonals there, and during the week, many of those are absent, so it’s pretty peaceful.

I usually don't leaves reviews often, but I feel like this one is much deserved! This place is wonderful. Very clean and well maintained. It is low key compared to some of the larger resort type campgrounds we have been but still offering enough for the kids to stay busy and have fun. The owners were more than helpful and so nice, made us feel very welcome. We were even walking to take the trash to the dumpster and they offered to take it for us. The small unexpected acts of kindness mean so much. We will definitely be visiting this place again and will make it part of our yearly summer trips!
