Forest Haven RV Park and Campground

What an awesome spot. We visited a couple times this summer and each time was better than the previous. Every weekend we came it seemed there was more to do and additional improvements completed. By the end of summer there were two play structures for kids. The bathhouse by the RV parking was newly re-done. Any rowdiness outside of quite hours was promptly dealt with. The seasonal campers were friendly and the environment felt safe to have my kids run around and make friends. We can't wait to come back next summer! The only addition I hope for is a little more sand for the beach area!

Forest Haven is such a gorgeous gem to visit in Michigan. The owners have made so many improvements since my previous visit. It's secluded, peaceful, and such a beautiful place to vacation.

The property still has some updating to be done. so, if one overlooks the projects ongoing and enjoys the hilly mature forest its nestled in, many hiking trails through it and peacefulness you will see the 5. The new owners, Johnathan and Sam, are working their tails off to bring it back to its glory. They and their sweet family are the best hosts any camper could hope for. We will be back in 2025 and looking forward to enjoying their fellowship and completed projects on the property.

We stopped in here at 7:30 on a Saturday night in October. No reservations, no phone call, just found it on my maps app and took a chance. So glad that we did. Owner was very friendly, very accommodating. Got us a site within minutes of us arriving. Place is very clean, in the process of renovation but beautiful nonetheless. Hiking trails are well marked and maintained. Golf carts for rent, camp store, etc. We will definitely be back soon.

We just had our second stay at Forest Haven and I can't say enough great things about it. This time we stayed in the inner circle close to the bathrooms which was really convenient. The bathrooms are newly refinished with nice epoxy showers and were kept clean and tidy during the entirety of our stay. We loved the tall canopy of trees that provided a lot of shade and created a nice break in the wind on the chillier nights. We walked around the trails for hours enjoying the views and caught countless pan fish in the pond. During our stay, the park owners hosted pumpkin painting for the kids for a small fee and coordinated trick or treating with those currently at the park. The kids had so much fun dressing up (hello, more bang for your buck on costumes!) and visiting the decorated sites for treats. I think we will definitely make this a yearly tradition!
