Fort Caspar Campground

The location is perfect for us. Close to all amenities in town, beautiful walking trail super within a 1/4 mile. Bath house and laundry room is always clean and nice. Highly recommend this RV Park!

The sights were ample, flat and gravel. We enjoyed the walking path. About 2 miles from the highway, but nice view of mountains and quiet. We only stayed one night, but in the morning our RV wouldn’t start. Karla in the office was extremely accommodating. She moved another camper around so we could stay if needed. She was amazing! We were also grateful for two of our neighbors who stopped by to help.

This little RV park along the North Platte River in Caspar, Wyoming was a great place to pull our 25’ RV in for the night. We pulled in after dark so we had contactless check in. The park map was easy to follow and our spot was well marked. The 30Amp service plug in was easy to use and worked flawlessly. The WIFI/internet was in and out during our stay so that could probably use a restart or boost. The bathroom facility was clean. Some of the surfaces and finishes look like they could use an update but were serviceable and clean which is the most important. Also, we used two showers. One had hot water the entire shower and the other did not. We did not use the laundry facilities so I cannot comment on that. Checkout in the main office was easy and the office staff was kind. All in all a great location to hook up for the night for the price in the off season.

Convenient 1 night stay on a long trip. Park was mostly filled by long term occupants. The park proper was clean, grassy areas well maintained (no dogs allowed). I did not use the restrooms or store.

I'm sure at one time this campground matched the pictures posted of it, but today it's run down. Our sites sewer connection was broken in the ground & not even covered. The trails and sites haven't been taken care of in a number of years. Most of the trailers there are long term renters with not alot of pride in their belongings. Don't get me started on how close the sites are to each other or there terrible layout of the campground, which is basically a gravel parking lot. On a positive, the Laundry was nice.

Restrooms are always kept clean! All around, always organized in laundry room and miscellaneous areas.
