Great spot to camp overnight in your RV. We pulled in during a crazy rainstorm so it was tricky to see how to park. But we pulled in parallel with the grass under the trees and it worked great. Gravel road so it wasn't muddy even with the rain. We were close enough to run a 50ft hose to a water spigot out in the field to fill our fresh tank. No sewer or electric hookups available. The playground, field, basketball court and covered picnic areas were perfect for the kids to get out and have some fun. We saw neighbors and heard a couple lawnmowers but otherwise pretty quiet. It's located next to the train tracks so we heard a couple trains pass through, but not very often through the night. Great location if you're heading over to Fort Laramie Historic Site.

With such a small population it's nice for a community to allow you to stay for 3 days at the city park everything was wonderful except for the Flies I have never seen fly so bad I had to leave

Nice Quiet City Park located south of the RR Tracks. Good for an overnight rest.

We tend to agree with the other reviewers. Camping is not specifically against the rules but with no water and the bathrooms locked this really becomes a emergency boondock campsite. I think only RVs with toilets on board should consider this location. There are several campgrounds in the area and plenty of BLM land which would be better boondock camping locations. We have to say we know why the bathrooms are locked. In many small towns vandalism of park facilities is a growing problem and these small towns just do not have the money to keep fixing the damage.
