Fort Morgan RV Park

On arrival I went to the office and there was a whiteboard with our name and assigned spot. There was a message saying to set up and they'll see me in the morning. I went in the morning to settle up and no sign of anyone in the office. Returned later in the day and still no sign of anyone. The next day a woman was making rounds in a golf cart and I flagged her down, asking how I settle up. She said she'd just charge the card I used for the first night's deposit. I said ok and never saw anyone else again. The first 8 spots are waterfront. This is not a swimmable beach though. The view is very nice. There is a nice pier with a heron hanging out there who begs for food. Quite a sight. The rest of the park is heavily shaded. Many long term units, most of which were in good repair. Park is quite level. There is free laundry. Wi-Fi was adequate, did not use the cable tv. Did not use bathhouse so can't comment. Spaces were on the smaller side but adequate.There was a decent sized dog park. Overall, the place grew on me and if I return I would definitely consider staying here again.

We have stayed here twice now and fore see additional trips in the future. rob and Sue are fantastic host; polite and friendly. They are super laid back and easy to work with on the accommodations. The lots are level clean and in good working order. Great place to relax and just a short jaunt to the beach if that is what you want to do. if you want to fish, they have a dock for that. Rob will gladly give tips if you ask.

We booked a campsite online. Had never been there and only had their website photos to go by, which didn’t show much. We chose a waterfront site, which ended up having NO shade at all even though the park layout drawing on the site showed trees. Thankfully our 2 a/c units did fine in the heat! Sites are gravel. There’s a small fenced dog park. There is no store and you still can’t go inside the office, apparently since Covid?! Bathrooms were not good. Managers were nice and this park has a LOT of potential, but it needs work. It is very basic, and the 4 stars are for the view of the bay and fishing pier. However, there were beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

This place is incredible because of the management. We are so blessed to have gotten to meet them and had the opportunity to stay here. They have worked so hard to make this place what it is and you can certainly see that passion in everything! Great people!

My husband & I just left this campground today. We were sad to leave because we really enjoyed our time here. This is a small rv park without a pool. But, the trees provided wonderful shade, the dock was great & the sunsets were beautiful. Everyone there was very welcoming & friendly. We did not use the bathrooms or even look at them because we only use ours, so I can’t rate that. We did use the free laundry which was good. We would definitely go back.
