I think this motel is underrated. Its location is convenient. The owner was very nice, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable for us. We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the sleep. The building is a bit old but all facilities are well maintained. With the price I will give it a 5 star.

I'm basing the 5 starts on how great the customer service was also the cleanliness of this motel was emaculate. I've stayed in 300$ a night rooms that weren't half as clean as this place was. I tried to be a hater cause I've never stayed in a motel before but I have to say Great Job at this motel. Beautiful view clean room great customer service 👌. Highly recommend

Simple, clean, friendly. Nice view of the water - you can hear the wind in the trees and the waves at night. Decent bed. Love the retro lamps. Floors and paint recently redone. Good location. Good value. I usually stay in upscale B&Bs but ended up here due to unforeseen circumstances and I am glad it worked out that way. Nothing fancy about it but I would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in the campground. All services, clean washrooms, hot showers, free good wifi and view of the water. Long stair climb to the beach. We carried the kayaks down and got some great photos of the seals that lived right below the motel. Had a great time. Owner was very friendly.

We stayed here about a week ago and the lady running the front desk was really rude. This area is beautiful and so busy, that I guess the owners will always have full rooms and camp sites, so they can treat people as poorly as they like. We pulled in on bikes around 10pm and read the sign next to the camping that said the campground closed at 11. I rang the bell at the front door and the lady hardly opened the door before shouting “we have no rooms!” I rang the bell again and told her we would like to get a tent site for camping and she signed heavily, grabbed my card from me and charged me for the room. She didn’t give me a receipt, any paperwork or explain any amenities. She rolled her eyes and then proceeded to yell at me to “not come back here again! I need my sleep!” Honestly wish I had just pulled in and set up my tent and left first thing in the morning rather than paying money to get treated like garbage for no reason.
