Fort Steele Campground

Bob and Vern were very welcoming. The property is very clean and well maintained. There is a really nice walking trail on the property. The firewood was dry and burned well. The bathroom was very clean and the water hot!!! I would definitely stay here again if I’m ever in the area. Thanks so much, Mary Buckentine

Bob, Rohnda and Vern are amazing hosts with a beautiful little slice of the valley. Well groomed and maintained sites for campers and RVs at affordable rates. Bathrooms and showers are avalible and well kept, cleaned daily. Great place to go to escape life for a little while with some great hiking near by.

Nice campground about 15 minute drive from cranbrook. Stayed 4 nights, very quiet campground. Everyone was really friendly including the owner Bob and their helper Vern, who I had great conversations with.

If you want a relaxing, clean, home away from home, look no further. The owners and hosts (Rhonda, Bob, Vern and Parker) made us feel very welcome and a part of their family. The washrooms/showers were impeccable. The pool was very clean and refreshing. The campsites are well taken care of and no highway noise! We meant to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 5 as we loved it so much there. Also everyone was very helpful with answering any questions we had regarding activities in he area. We miss this place already, and we will definitely be back!!

Spent a wonderful week here with family on three sites. Very nice hosts and other campers were friendly. Everything was clean, playground was great for the kids, lots of walking trails. I admit we were concerned about the rules but after talking to Bob and Vern I understand why actually saw an incident while we were there and that really drove it home why they have done this. If you want a home away from home this is the place to go. Thanks guys for providing a safe, quiet campground.
