Nice people, quiet and friendly. Its kept clean but could use some updating as the would for the bridge is rotting and can not use the stairs to get down by the water so have ti take the trails instead. No mailing service option in site or deliveries for packages if you are planning to be here for a shirt while. Bathrooms and laundry is not available due to the pandemic. Grocery stores nearby which is a plus. Cant really complain for the price. Wouldn't mind coming back but wouldn't mind exploring other options to compare.
This RV Park is not up to par. No showers,no room for gatherings, 2 people that run this place NEVER came out to meet people. Will never come here again.
Cheap place to stay - temper your expectations Ok... So it was only $35 per night, so keep that in mind! IF you meet the qualifications to stay (military affiliated), this is REALLY close to the Navy Nuke School! Yes - the camp hosts are salty, as are some of the long term residents (like the people in the first spot on the right), but.. It's $35! Spots are flat, full power and water, bathrooms MAY now be under construction, and the lady you book with in building across from the bowling alley is super sweet! 😁
Beautiful place, too bad that the overseer was extremely rude and standoff ish. I was taking my wife and kids to see the park since we’re on a road trip and were checking out a few spots. She got in front of my vehicle with her two small dogs and started berating me and questioning why I was there. She was saying that she didn’t “people like us” back there and that we weren’t welcome at this time which was around noon mind you. At this point my children were starting to get scared so I just left. Haven’t been here in 5 years and was not the welcome I was hoping for.
Very nice, clean RV Park. This used to be a mobile home park and there is still one mobile home there. The host family is very nice and attentive. I saw some negative reviews and apparently much had changed. I highly recommend this park.
