The reviews could not have prepared me for what me and my family walked into. We basically just gave a donation, because we did not sleep, sit or use anything in this place. After reading reviews, we brought bleach spray, Microban and Clorox wipes, but even that wasn’t enough to put our minds at ease. We put our things back in our car and crashed at family’s house. Disgusted and disappointed to say the least.

I've have stayed there a few times and still see there is NO PRIDE in these rentals. No water pressure in the kitchen and shower head. Dryer will not shut off unless you turn the timer to OFF. Blinds bent out of shape. Holes in the walls that need patching and peeling paint in all the bathrooms. Even the iron is nonworking. I'm hoping the military housing across the street isn't in this rundown condition. I'll still stay there since it is closer to my daughters home then any decent hotel for the price but would really like to see some effort put into these rentals.

We've stayed at the villas since 2011. Every few years we come back here and enjoy our stay. Especially with Charleston not far from here. Kim, manager, has been super helpful. Unfortunately if you're not use to military housing you're going to dislike some things. However, I'm perfectly content with our stay. The beds were comfortable and the furniture was great. Rooms were clean.

If I could give zero stars I would! I haven't even gotten to stay there yet and customer service is horrible. Reserved and paid for our place in November. Have been calling since for a receipt and copy of resevation. But their "internet has been down for over a week" so I cant get a copy of them nor can I cancel! Their cancelation policy is full refund if you cancel prior to 30 days before arrival date. (Feb 15) So I feel like they are delaying my cancelation to take advantage of us because we have been calling since Jan 3rd. They refuse to cancel us because their systems are down. All she did was give me the number to the manager that went to voicemail.

Horrible! The home is full of mold and mildew. I was not even able to stay there due to my lung condition. My Husband and Mother-In-Law stayed only because they would not refund our money to go get another place. When we called, the lady was not wiling to refund money and only told us that all of the homes are old and all smell like that. Obviously no surprise or care to them. I was not even in the home for 5 minutes before I was not able to breathe. Thank God I had my nebulizer to do breathing treatments or I would have ended up in the hospital. They should NOT be allowed to rent these homes to anyone as not only are there several safety hazards, there are severe health hazards! We just got back on Monday and yesterday, my husband who does not have allergies or lung issues has started coughing horrible and has pretty much coughed up a lung! Let's not forget that they had to change our unit that we initially had reserved due to an "issue" with the home....I can only imagine, did a wall cave in, or most likely the bathtub fell through the ceiling. It is truly this bad! I would not let any animal or my worst enemy stay in these homes. Joint Base Charleston ought to be ashamed! You would have thought that since the Air Force Base now has something to do with them, they would have at least been half way decent.
