My wife and I had a delightful overnight stay in November of 2024. We were accommodated graciously by the host with anything we could have ever needed.(dry firewood, Electric hook up, running water) The camping areas were well kept and very inviting. The campground also had an area to wash up and even do laundry if needed. I cannot speak highly enough about this campground absolutely wonderful.

Adorable campsite in a nice quiet part of Maine out on Deer Isle. There was well-placed hookups for he camper and a good amount of space at our camp site. Just a note, I didn't think any of the sites are big enough for a large camper, but the HC1 fit perfectly. There was a little community cabin with games and coffee and a place to wash your dishes, which was nice. The different sites has different options, like preset sturdy tents, and even a large yurt. There was also bathroom/shower facility that was nice to have (nothing fancy, but clean and got the job done). IMPORTANT: It says that dogs must be on leash at all times, but that is *not enforced at all*. That meant we had to super be on watch all the time, since our one dog doesn't like when other dogs run up in his space out of nowhere. We kept ours on 15' tethers but almost everyone else (including dogs with VERY poor recall) seemed to be letting their dogs just wander about.

We spent three nights here and can’t wait to return! The sites are close together but everyone was kind, respectful, and quiet, even the dogs! We really liked that the sites have wood chips instead of sand/dirt because made packing up a way cleaner process. The bathrooms are clean, well stocked, and had showers. The Community Cabin was cute and cozy and super helpful for folks that inevitably forget a pot or need a place to hang out during rain. The proximity to Stonington (20 mins) and Acadia (1.5 hrs) were super convenient for us, and Deer Isle had a few peaceful beaches to enjoy. Overall an amazing experience because you can really tell how much time and love Caleb has put into the space. Highly recommend!

4 Acre Woods Campground was absolutely perfect. The finishing touches like a bench and tiki tourch along with the firepit and picnic table at each tent sight really went above and beyond. My husband and I were traveling along maine with hopes of finding anyway to spend the night in our camper truck. Caleb came through! it was the campgrounds last night of the season and he allowed us to come in for the night and make ourselfs at home. Extremely clean, easy to access, water & electric, dry firewood and a spotless bathroom. it was all we needed. Caleb was kind enough to greet us the next morning with his beautiful dog just to chat with us and say goodmorning. We had no idea where we were headed prior to this so he really saved the day. I would recommend this spot to anyone! Thanks for everything caleb!

We had the most amazing week at Four Acre Campsite. It is perfectly located, and really let's you absorb the beautiful nature all around you. But you can't talk about this campsite without also talking about it's operator/owner Caleb. He is an incredible person and loves what he does. The longer you stay here, the more opportunities you will give him to offer some of his passion and knowledge of the area with a unique experience that is sure to impress. And if you're worried that you're not the "roughing it" type, the mattress in the geodome was surprisingly comfortable. My wife and I (and Yorkie) got very restful sleep every night, which was especially important given all the hiking and paddling we engaged in on this vacation. It was dog friendly, and offers all the amenities one could need while enjoying a camping adventure. It felt like a community that was as welcoming a place that we've ever been to. Thanks again for a beautiful time, can't wait to be back!
