Owners are lovely people. Harold helped us back in late at night, shared a couple of drinks, and his wife (I didn’t catch her name) helped when the carbon monoxide detector was going off on our neighbours caravan. Lovely site, easy access. Full sewage, water and electric systems. Would recommend staying here.
Great place to stop off for a few nights or to spend the whole Winter. Typically is haul though do call to ensure availability. Side-by-side a TV's all welcome great management :)
Linda and Herald are wonderful hosts and owners. They have organized group events for adults and you can't beat the location. If you're into 4x4 and offroad adventures this makes a perfect basecamp. Free wifi and laundry onsite. Super friendly atmosphere.
Pictures deceiving on website. Cash only. Beyond bare minimum. Bait and switch. Parked next to junk lot.
Obviously it's not a good idea to go to a very frequented place right there at the truck stop and especially on Thanksgiving! Having said all that, and even though it was extremely busy and I was only sitting at the counter, I never got any cranberry sauce, and the waitress never checked on me or the meal! It's good food. In fact, it's excellent food, but the Thanksgiving dinner special was $35.00; and even for California, that seems a bit excessive!
