A small and quiet spot right off the trail and right next to the river. There's a large fire ring in the center with a few tall pines, which makes the area nice and shady. There's a fallen log next to the fire, which I used as a seat, though it's partially burnt, so careful about it getting on your clothes. This spot is about half-way to 2nd Pines campground and is relatively easy to get to.
