Stayed 4 nights in site 12. Wonderful, small, and secluded campground sites. Nearly all of them are great sites to choose from. All pretty much level sites. Back loop is 1st come 1st serve. We reserved site 12 (front loop) through the reserve Illinois website. There are only 43 sites total, no primitive. There was one spot that did have non electric. Only downside is the small bathroom/shower house. There is a pit toilet by site 17. The shower house only has 2 showers and 2 toilets.
Quiet, restful and facilities super clean!
This campground is the way all should be set up. Plenty of trees between sites. Lots of space and privacy! Shower house good!!
Very hilly, good trails, lots deers, birds. Great campground with shower house.
Beautiful place to camp. We rented one of the cabins for the week. Amazing facilities, the communal shower house has hot water and are the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground. Lots to do around the park and in the surrounding area. Highly recommend
