This is the most relaxing campground in Northern michigan. The owners are the best host you could ever ask for. The bathrooms are kept in tip top condition. We had the best summer ever and looking forward to next year. First time campers and now lifelong.Thank you fox run!!
Went camping for Halloween camping they did this year had a great time. Was a great place bathroom clean showers clean everything was wonderful. If u thinking about camping here I would say go for it
Quaint little full hook up campground with a Nice playground for the kids. There is not a pool or wifi (our cell hot spot worked just fine) but the grounds are clean, quiet and there is a free laundry facility, which is so nice. If I have to choose anything to complain about it would be the road noise because it’s right off the highway. (Sleep with a fan on and you won’t notice.) About 15 min into Kalkaska and maybe 35 min to Traverse City. 1 hour to sleeping bear dunes and fishtown.
Is right next to roadside, so if your in a tent you will hear traffic til sun down, and again at sunrise. Their office has a variety of camping things to buy. No snacks, which would have been useful for me being on foot. The laundry machine and dryer are cold water only but free to use 👍
This was my family's first camping trip and I couldn't of asked for anything more. The grounds were very clean along with a bathroom shower that took my breath away by how well it was kept up. The owners were super nice and very helpful. I have mobility issues and do not walk well but everything was so close it wasn't a problem for me. My children loved everything about our trip! We can not wait to spend many more summers here. While packing for I trip I knew I would forget something, but was very surprised to find the office store had everything a camper could need. They even have fresh coffee!
