Fox Sparrow has new owners and they have done an amazing job of making this place welcoming, clean and safe. Food, beer, and wine at Foxy's Pub, which has great burgers. Have Talen hook you up with his special twist on this American classic (grilled potatoes and his own seasoning mix). We had a great time here. Everyone is super friendly and makes you feel right at home. P.S Less than 20 miles from Rubicon!
Nothing but positive things to say about this place, especially the owners. We were late checking in and it was dark. They had left us a note on the office door asking us to text when we arrived. Before we could even text them, they showed up on golf cart, welcomed us, led us to our site, helped us back in, get settled and invited us to visit the bar. The campground was quiet and peaceful and the site very spacious and private. The next day, after our visit to Apple Hill, we walked over to the bar. The owners were inside and happy to see us. Together we watched the Warriors vs. Jazz basketball game and got to know each other. What an enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back.
Janna, Troy and family have and are creating the most enjoyable rv resort and experience! I would encourage you to book a site and enjoy the beauty of the area and the incredible kindness and service of this family owned business. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Make sure you walk over to Foxy’s Bar for some great company, music, drinks and maybe the best burger you’ve ever had! 10/10 will be back!
New ownership is a big plus they have worked very hard and every day so far to completely turn this place around , they have a small store in the works and a beer and wine bar in the near future . Very pleasant atmosphere 👌 Happy to see sites filling up . Located at the beginning of Rubicon trail along with many lakes and hiking trails and horseback riding nearby, a great place to bring your family and enjoy all of what El Dorado National Forest has to offer 😀
We are loving the new owners! The atmosphere is very comfortable and friendly. They have a pool table, and they are fixing up the outside bar area. We can't wait to see it when it's done.
