Beautiful area. Campsites are spread out so you have some privacy. There is an outhouse and a bear box for your food. Close walk to other nearby trails, and relatively close to parking lot if you need to get back to town for something (about an hour hike or so).
Bear box, nice maintained sites, right near the water. Would love to go back again.
Nice camp for mild backpacking and a dog. No reservations. First come first serve.
Easy access, but far enough back from the road to not be crowded. Just across the river from multiple trails, makes a great starting point for several great hikes in the Whites. Just tent spots, no other facilities besides pit toilets. Cost a few bucks to park in the roadside lot, which does have flush toilets.
3 miles in from Lincoln Woods parking lot. Lots of tent sites and a caretaker in the warmer weather which means you'll need to pay. Bear box for food. Beautiful river and some good swimming spots up the trail a bit. Even a privy. Still 3.5' of snow in woods as of 3/31/19!
