Campground #5 was right next to creek. The sounds of the rushing water was soothing while sleeping. Campground was well kept and the restrooms were clean and nearby. My family and the dog had a great time. I have to admit, leaving the way we came in was quite difficult because there is no cell service, but hey that is what it is all about. lol *Disabled Friendly* FyI: Great for Stargazing

Campgrounds #6 and #7 technically don’t say “creekside” but they are right on the river and are just as great as any of the other sites. #6 is my favorite. Caught almost a dozen small wild rainbows on a dry fly right by the campsite, There are definitely larger stocked trout in these waters too. Overall just a fantastic campground for fishing and hanging out.

Awesome spot, very well kept and lots of trout. Gets full fast so get there early and respect yer neighbors. No cell signal at the actual camp site but if your drive about 10 minutes back down towards where the Benton mackaye trail crosses the gravel road you’ll get some bars. Easy drive to deep hole camp ground if all sites are occupied.

This park is a beautiful ride up the mountain. There are several places to pull off and fish or have a picnic.
