Franklin County Parks & Campground

I recently spent a weekend at Franklin County Park Tent Campground, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of nature, the campsite offers breathtaking views that are a feast for the eyes and soul. The panorama of majestic mountains, beautiful greenery, especially during sunrise and sunset. At night, the sky transforms into a mesmerizing canvas dotted with countless stars. Stargazing here is an unforgettable experience, with the Milky Way clearly visible in all its splendor. The clear, unpolluted skies make it perfect for spotting constellations and shooting stars. One of the most delightful aspects of this campground is wildlife. I was fortunate enough to see deer gracefully wandering near our campsite, adding a touch of enchantment to our stay. The area is pristine and meticulously maintained, with clean facilities and well-kept surroundings. The campground staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that all the facilities were in top-notch condition. Whether you’re a seasoned camper or a first-timer, Scenic Wilderness Campground is an idyllic retreat that promises peace, beauty, and a deep connection with nature. Highly recommended!

Thank you Franklin County Park for awesome venue for an absolutely amazing weekend with the Seriously Sick, Seriously Awwwwwesome Group from The Dry Dock of Cincinnati‼️🙏👍💯❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 My first time here at this park for camping or any kind of event for that matter. Amazing camping grounds‼️🙏👍 Lots of friendly people around anywhere you. Clean campsites and showers/bathroom areas. I’ve been camping a lot out here in Brookville, Indiana, and Versailles but did not know about this little gem in itself. Thanks for Beautiful and Very Blessed weekend all the way around. Cheers and lots of laughter and plenty of fun in the sun. Awesome clean and refreshing White Water River running along this beautiful venue‼️👍🙏💯❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The way this place runs their Derby's is ridiculous if you hit hard they break your stick then because they can't get their ducks in a row they just pile everyone together instead of having all the features pathetic. Oh and by the way it's after one in the morning. Went to the concession shop and they didn't even have coffee. In fact, I was told that they only had pop and chips. I WON'T GO BACK for sure !!!

Hard to find a good RV/tent place for a good price around here. But this is a winner! 30 amp RV spot for $25? Yes, and a great spot, too, with real nice restrooms & showers! So, why didn't I know about this place? Now I do...

Love this park! The wildlife is amazing.
